Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Carl Risch will travel December 11-13 to St. Albans, Vermont, and Montreal, Canada.  In St. Albans, he will review U.S. passport facility operations and tour the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ Vermont Service Center.  In Montreal, the Assistant Secretary will review consular operations at the U.S. Consulate General and tour U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s preclearance facilities at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport.  In both cities, Assistant Secretary Risch will underscore the Department’s deep, sustained commitment to the protection of U.S. citizens overseas and service to the traveling public while protecting border security.
