Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs R. Clarke Cooper travels to Germany February 13-15, 2020, where he will join a delegation of senior U.S. officials led by Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo for the Munich Security Conference.

Assistant Secretary Cooper will hold consultations on defense trade issues and regional security issues with senior civilian and military officials attending the conference, as well as meet with leading defense policy experts to discuss how security cooperation and defense trade programs managed by the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs deepen Transatlantic ties and enhance our shared security, prosperity, and values.  Assistant Secretary Cooper will also deliver remarks at an event hosted by the Christian Social Union Transatlantic Forum.
