Andrea is currently the State Department’s Russian-Language Spokesperson and Deputy Director of the Brussels Media Hub. She has served previously at U.S. embassies in Moscow, Dushanbe, and Guatemala City. Prior to entering the Foreign Service, she worked in educational exchange and development throughout Eurasia. She holds a Master’s degree in Slavic Languages and Literatures from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Russian Area Studies from Southern Methodist University in her hometown, Dallas, Texas. She speaks four languages.
