
Elaine Ogden serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Research and Analytics in the Bureau of Global Public Affairs.
Previously, Ms. Ogden was Senior Vice President of Data and Analytics at Precision Strategies, overseeing all data-driven analysis and research for corporate, non-profit, political, and advocacy clients. She led engagements with top global brands planning, executing, and measuring communications and marketing initiatives, weaving together insights gleaned across social, digital, and polling datasets.
Prior to Precision Strategies, Ms. Ogden was a director in Real Chemistry’s analytics practice where she was responsible for mapping consumer journeys, developing frameworks for campaign measurement, identifying digital influencers, and segmenting audiences for a range of clients in the healthcare, telecommunications, entertainment, technology, energy, financial services, and food & beverage sector.
In addition to data, analytics, and research, Ms. Ogden has also worked in the CRM space, on social media campaigns, as well as writing and research. Ms. Ogden graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. She is originally from Arlington, Virginia.
