
Geraldine Gassam Griffith is the Deputy Director of the Dubai Regional Media Hub where she is one of the U.S. Government’s principal Arabic-language spokespeople. She previously served in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Lebanon, El Salvador, and the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs in Washington. Geraldine also spent time as a Political Advisor embedded with U.S. Special Forces in Syria in support of the counter-ISIS campaign. She holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from the George H.W. Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University and a bachelor’s degree in History from Yale University.
