Commander Ibrahima Lansana Soumah, Gendarmerie Squadron in N’Zerekore, Guinea, was injured in a vehicle accident while on protective escort, March 19, 2013, and died shortly after being medically evacuated to Morocco. He was escorting the U.S. ambassador on a trip to the Forest Region of Guinea.
