
Jackee Schools is Executive Director of the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS). She serves as the principal advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Diplomatic Security and to the Director of the Diplomatic Security Service on all administrative, management, and resource management matters affecting DS. In this role, she oversees the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, the Office of the Chief Technology Officer, the Office of Management Services, and the Human Resource Management Division.
Ms. Schools began her career in security with DS in 2001 and was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in 2019. Over the course of her career, she has served as Special Assistant to the Executive Director, as a program officer for the Antiterrorism Assistance Program, as Chief of the Research and Information Support Center for the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), as a special advisor to the Management Counselor at the U.S. Mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and as Director of the Office of Management Services.
Ms. Schools received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics from George Mason University, Virginia, in 1998 and earned a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from George Mason University School of Law in 2001. In December 2005, she received a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University in Missouri.
