Jennifer Rahimi's term ended on January 19, 2021.
Jennifer Rahimi is a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy, and a career Foreign Service Officer at the Department of State. Ms. Rahimi has served overseas in Macedonia, Israel, Venezuela and most recently as Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in Vienna, Austria. From 2009 to 2013, Ms. Rahimi worked in her native Washington, D.C. in a variety of State Department positions, including Senior Media Advisor in the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, Outreach Director for the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), and Visiting Scholar and Diplomat in Residence at the Center for International Science & Technology Policy at the Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University. Ms. Rahimi attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Government & Politics, and a Certificate in Women’s Studies.
