
Mr. Rajadhyaksha is Deputy Director for the Department of State’s Bureau of Budget & Planning (BP), and Director of the Office of Resource Planning and Budget Information. He oversees three divisions serving the Department of State: The Resources, Strategy and Liaison division; the Systems, Resources, and Operations division; and the Funds Control and Reimbursement division.
Mr. Rajadhyaksha previously served as Deputy Executive Director for the Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) from 2013 through 2019. During a tenure of over six years, he was responsible for a broad set of responsibilities, overseeing: The Budget Formulation, Presentation, and Strategic Planning division; the Program Assessment and Evaluation division; the Budget Execution division; the Grants, Acquisitions and Procurement Policy division; and the Management Assistance and Post Support division. Prior to assuming this position, Mr. Rajadhyaksha served in INL’s Office of Afghanistan and Pakistan as a senior advisor from 2004 through 2013 on strategic planning, budget formulation & execution, procurement, and logistics-related matters.
Preceding federal service, Mr. Rajadhyaksha’s private sector career spanned over 20 years, and included several engineering, program, and technology management positions. In his last position, Mr. Rajadhyaksha was Chief Technology Officer and Director of Product Management for a franchisor from 1997 through 2004, responsible for the corporation’s overall technology strategy, new product development and after-market support, critical IT-based business systems and 24/7 technical support to the corporation’s nationwide network of franchises, distributors and service providers.
Mr. Rajadhyaksha holds an MBA in Operations Management from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering.
