Brigadier General Todd A. Fogle is the Senior Military Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of State, Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, at the United States Department of State. In this position, he advises the Assistant Secretary on all military matters as they relate to U.S. foreign policy and provides oversight to Department of Defense personnel assigned to the Department of State.
Brigadier General Fogle entered the Air Force through the Cedarville University Reserve Officer Training Corps. He has spent the majority of his career in special operations aviation assignments and has led contingency operations in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and South America. He has commanded at the Squadron, Group, Joint Special Operations Air Component, Expeditionary Wing, and Wing levels. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the Joint Forces Staff College, and the National Defense University.
