Yolanda Robinson

Yolanda Robinson serves as the Executive Director for the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), Office of Policy, Planning, and Resources (R/PPR) and the Global Engagement Center (GEC).  She is a career member of the Senior Executive Service and has served 25 years as a civil servant. In her role, she provides strategic direction and managerial oversight in developing, coordinating, and executing organization-wide administrative policies and processes in the areas of Budget and Financial Management, Human Resources, Information Technology, Grants Management, Procurement and General Administrative Services.  Joining the U.S. Department of State in March 2007, Ms. Robinson has held significant positions including the Bureau’s Budget Officer, managing, and executing resources of more than $800 million, and the Deputy Executive Director, working alongside the Executive Director with the development and execution of operational policies. Passionate about mentoring and community involvement, Yolanda is deeply committed to fostering growth and development both within her professional sphere and in her community.
