Our Mission

The Office of Congressional and Public Affairs (CPA) facilitates the ISN Bureau’s interactions with Congress, the media, industry, academia, and non-governmental organizations to coordinate public diplomacy, strategic messaging, briefings, and other outreach efforts in support of all ISN missions. CPA works closely with the Bureau of Global Public Affairs, the Office of the Spokesperson, and the Bureau of Legislative Affairs to promote the State Department’s international security and nonproliferation policy.
