Office of the Nonproliferation and Disarmament Fund

Our Mission

The Nonproliferation and Disarmament Fund (NDF), established in 1994, allows the U.S. government to respond rapidly to high-priority, time-sensitive nonproliferation and disarmament opportunities which are unanticipated or unusually difficult. The NDF maintains technical, programmatic, and operational expertise to rapidly address adversary use or proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, their delivery systems, as well as advanced conventional weapons. NDF ensures illicit weapons, materials, and technologies never harm Americans at home or abroad and is accomplished in the most cost-effective manner possible.
