Office of the Coordinator on Global Anti-Corruption
Our Mission
As articulated in the U.S. Strategy on Countering Corruption, the Biden-Harris Administration has elevated anti-corruption as a key national security and foreign policy priority. As a result, Secretary of State Blinken announced the creation of a Coordinator on Global Anti-Corruption (CGAC) in December 2021. CGAC serves to elevate and integrate efforts underway across the Department to prevent and combat corruption. CGAC also leads the Department’s senior engagement on anti-corruption issues within the U.S. government and with key stakeholders in foreign governments, international organizations, and non-governmental partners such as civil society and the private sector.
