The 1972 Biological Weapons Convention bans all biological and chemical weapons. Its 183 member states met in Geneva, Switzerland from November 28-December 16, 2022, for the purpose of reviewing that Convention, providing an opportunity for the international community to learn from the pandemic, and address the threat of bio-weapons use by states and terrorists.
