U.S. Military—Marine Security Guard

Lance Cpl. Darwin L. Judge, Marine Security Guard (MSG), died on April 29, 1975, in Saigon, South Vietnam, during a Viet Cong rocket attack. His hometown is Marshalltown, Iowa. According to the book, “The Marine Corps and the State Department,” he and MSG Charles McMahon, Jr., were the last two Americans to die in the Vietnam War.
