The Secretary’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion (S/ODI) released the first two years of data from the Department’s newly established DEIA Demographic Baseline Report (DBR). Designed to be updated annually, the report provides a bureau-by-bureau description of the Department’s Fiscal Years 2021 and 2022 workforce data – broken down by race, ethnicity, sex, disability, grade/rank, and job series/skill codes. The DBR includes Census Data and data from the U.S. Department of Labor statistics describing who is available to be hired in job series skill codes for the Civil Service and Foreign Service. The data allows the Department to assess whether it reflects the rich diversity of our nation.
