U.S. Government Global Water Strategy
More than 17 U.S. government agencies and departments contributed to the development of the first whole-of-government U.S. Global Water Strategy, which was launched in November 2017. The goal of the Strategy is to coordinate and catalyze U.S. efforts to advance the vision of a water-secure world, where people have sustainable supplies of water of appropriate quantity and quality to meet basic human, economic, and ecosystem needs, and the ability to manage risks from floods and droughts.
