“The DS Registrar’s Office is the heart of the Foreign Affairs Security Training Center – we are the first and the last stop to all things training.   Our number one goal is to ensure our Team meets the demands of training to further the Mission of Diplomatic Security, US Department of State, as well as other Government Agencies with precision and an expedient process.

The Registrar Team is constantly developing ways to better serve our students’ needs, from the use of modern technology for accurate student data reporting, to shaping the student experience to one of ease and confidence in our Team.   We are here to serve; we are always ready”.

As a major federal investment, FASTC is increasing local demands for housing, lodging for students and visitors, and related services and will continue to do so over the next few years. New job opportunities in the area are also occurring including positions in the technology, construction, maintenance, project management, education, and other career fields.

The Blackstone area offers quiet country living with little traffic, large acres of land, and outdoor activities – while still being reasonably close to the city of Richmond and the suburbs of Washington, D.C.
