Joint Strategic Plan (JSP)

The Department of State and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Joint Strategic Plan sets forth the Secretary of State’s direction and priorities for both organizations. Joint Regional Strategy (JRS)

Joint Regional Strategies provides State and USAID Regional Bureaus a process for collaborative planning that is predictable, uniform, and conceptually rigorous. These joint strategies are updated every four years and focus on priority strategic goals and objectives and informs bureau-level resource planning and the mission-level Integrated Country Strategy. Click here to view the complete list of JRS documents.

Integrated Country Strategies (ICS)

The ICS is the U.S. Embassy’s strategic plan, it serves as the single multi-year overarching strategy that encapsulates U.S. government policy priorities, goals and objectives with respect to the host country. Program Evaluations

In accordance with the Department of State’s evaluation policy, which outlines requirements for publishing evaluation results, the Office of U.S. Foreign Assistance Resources began publishing full reports of unclassified foreign assistance evaluations in 2015.
