Family Member Employment Report (FAMER)

  • The Global Community Liaison Office routinely collects family member employment statistics from over 200 overseas posts. These statistics show the number of adult family members employed inside a U.S. embassy or consulate overseas, as well as those working on the local economy of their host country. The statistics also indicate the number of adult family members at post.

  • Find post-specific FAMERs, by emailing GCLOAskEmployment@state.gov or via FSI’s Post Info to Go-External (PITG-E). To obtain a PITG password, email PostInfotoGoExternal@state.gov with your name, agency, employee sponsor and their “.gov” email address, and post of assignment.

  • See our guide to reading the FAMER.
