The Bureau of Energy Resources (ENR) and FPC are pleased to offer an international reporting tour entitled “Energy Diversity” for up to 15 journalists from EAP and EUR regions.  The tour will take place in Texas and Louisiana from September 8-13, 2019. This tour will address the importance of energy diversity and how a strong energy mix can strengthen national security.  The tour will highlight America’s above all energy policy which emphasizes energy diversification in supplies, sources and routes. Additionally, the tour will demonstrate how private sector investment in energy technologies, including LNG and renewables, have led to America’s energy abundance.

This reporting tour will address energy-related topics that include: energy diversity; America’s “above all energy strategy” which includes renewables, LNG, oil, and nuclear; and the tremendous technological expertise of American energy companies and how they have led America’s transformation into an energy exporter.  Participants are required to file a minimum of six (6) stories stemming from their experience on the tour.
