Participation in these preparatory processes is limited to U.S. persons with telecommunications and information policy interests or technical expertise who are eligible and prepared to serve as advisors on the U.S. delegation and materially contribute to the preparation (e.g., take on work assignments such as producing or contributing to a U.S. input document to the meeting). We have established the following email lists as a convenient means to coordinate the development of U.S. input contributions and positions: General ITU-PP-xx: Supports preparations for ITU Plenipotentiary Conferences, where “xx” indicates the year. ITU-Council: Supports preparations for Council, its working groups, and preparations for the WSIS+10 review. Radiocommunication Sector ITU-R (also known as the “National Committee”): Supports preparations for ITU-R Study Groups 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, as well as major ITU-R meetings and conferences e.g. CPM WRC, RA, RAG. We will enable U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are supporting our preparatory processes to have ITU TIES (and CITEL Collaborative Space) accounts to access meeting documents. Participants are expected to be self-sufficient in terms of accessing and downloading documents. We do not enable accounts for non-U.S. persons.
