Leadership Seminar for Overseas Principals (LSOP)

An invitational three-day seminar to explore concepts, practices, and processes of executive leadership.
All local costs supported.
Summer Institute for International Counselors
June 24-27
A four-day College Board information/training institute specifically for college guidance counselors in American/international schools held at New York University (NYU) New York, N.Y. Fee supported.
Scholarships available for A/OS assisted schools.
New Counselor Strand: This four-day training will cover the fundamentals of university advising and guide new counselors through key components of the admission process.
Experienced Counselor Strand: This four-day training strand will explore ways to refine an existing college counseling program and provide experienced counselors with a forum to discuss timely issues with peers and seasoned admission officers.
American Education Reaches Out
June 24-28
Five institutes at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia: Academic Leaders (for curriculum coordinators and administrators); AERO Workshops on curriculum design in English, Mathematics, World Languages, and Science. Preference will be given to administrator/curriculum coordinator and teacher teams. Tuition, room, and board are free.
