JORGE MILTON CIFUENTES-VILLA is the head of the Cifuentes-Villa Drug Trafficking Organization, which operates in Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Mexico, and Spain. Cifuentes-Villa is allegedly responsible for financing and coordinating multi-ton cocaine shipments via speedboats, fishing vessels, and airplanes to the United States via Ecuador and Mexico. Since 2008, he most likely has obtained and imported over 31,000 kilograms of cocaine to the United States, and is purportedly the primary source of supply of cocaine for the Sinaloa Cartel in Mexico.
Cifuentes-Villa is believed to be a sponsor of Vicente Castaño, the former commander of the Designated Foreign Terrorist Organization Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia (AUC). He also allegedly sponsored weapons shipments with the AUC as an exchange for security of his drug-trafficking activities.
Cifuentes-Villa was indicted in the Southern District of Florida and the Southern District of New York in 2010 on drug-related charges.
The U.S. Department of State is currently offering a REWARD OF UP TO $5 MILLION for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of JORGE MILTON CIFUENTES-VILLA.
