Diplomats and the Law: Dispelling the Myths

To combat the myths surrounding diplomatic immunity, the U.S. Department of State has released a video companion to its publication: Diplomatic and Consular Immunity: Guidance for Law Enforcement and Judicial Authorities. This short video, entitled Diplomats and the Law: Dispelling the Myths shows dramatizations of three scenarios common to law enforcement officers and the very real consequences that diplomats face, even after diplomatic immunity has prevented arrest and/or prosecution.  Click here to access the video’s companion quiz.
