Special Projects

OFM undertakes a variety of special projects every year. The underlying goal of such endeavors is to support in creative ways the Department of State’s mission to create a more secure, democratic, and prosperous world for the benefit of the American people and the international community.

Further these projects foster a common theme of striving to build and maintain strong bilateral and multilateral relationships in pursuit of the Department’s mission. As the history of American foreign policy suggests, we will increase our chances of success abroad by exerting principled leadership while seeking to work with others to achieve our goals.
