U.S. Embassy Bamako's Diplomatic Security Service 's regional security officer Jason Willis was knighted by the Malian government on April 17 as Chevalier Ordre National du Mali. Mr. Willis dedicated the honor to, “all the security professionals, Malian and American, who have died in the fight against terrorism in the Sahel.”
