On February 16, Secretary Rex Tillerson met with counterparts from the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and United Arab Emirates, in addition to the UN Special Envoy for Yemen, to discuss the current situation in Yemen and how the international community can work together to strengthen cooperation to resolve the conflict.

The Secretary underscored the United States’ continued support for the UN-led process and work of the UN Special Envoy, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, and noted the urgent need for the unfettered delivery of humanitarian assistance throughout Yemen.
