The Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations Announces the Construction Award for the Major Rehabilitation of the U.S. Embassy in Athens, Greece
The Department of State awarded Caddell Construction Company of Montgomery, Alabama the construction contract for the major rehabilitation of the U.S. Embassy in Athens, Greece.
This project includes the rehabilitation of, and additions to, the existing chancery and other buildings. The architect for the project is Ann Beha Architects of Boston, Massachusetts.
Since 1999, as part of the Department’s Capital Security Construction Program, the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) has completed 138 new diplomatic facilities, with an additional 61 projects now in design or under construction.
