Please note: On December 1, 2022, PEPFAR released its new five-year strategy, Fulfilling America’s Promise to End the HIV/AIDS Pandemic by 2030. 

As PEPFAR nears its 20th anniversary in January 2023, the program has released a document that outlines the strategic direction that will guide PEPFAR to achieve its purpose to save lives and end HIV/AIDS as a global health threat by 2030, as well as sustainably strengthening public health systems.
