Blinken spoke today with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Foreign Minister Eli Cohen. Secretary Blinken reiterated his condolences for the victims of the terrorist attacks against Israel and condemned those attacks in the strongest terms. The Secretary reaffirmed the United States’ solidarity with the government and people of Israel. Secretary Blinken also discussed measures to bolster Israel’s security. The Secretary underscored the United States’ unwavering support for Israel’s right to defend itself.
