Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met today with Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto in Reykjavik. Secretary Blinken and Foreign Minister Haavisto emphasized the strength of the U.S.-Finnish partnership and discussed ways to deepen our cooperation on climate action, the Arctic region, global health, and security. The two leaders also expressed shared concern over the situation in the Horn of Africa, including in the Tigray region of Ethiopia.
