Blinken met today with Namibian President Hage Geingob, Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema, and South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor, who together represent the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Organ on Politics, Defense, and Security in Washington, D.C.  Secretary Blinken and Organ Troika members emphasized the importance of strong U.S.-SADC relations and stressed the need for greater cooperation on shared challenges in the region and beyond.
