Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo held a productive call today with Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland.  Secretary Pompeo and Deputy Prime Minister Freeland discussed various issues key to the close U.S.-Canada partnership, including the crisis in Venezuela, steps to address the COVID-19 outbreak, support for democratic elections in Guyana, and the need for continued strong OAS leadership in support of democracy and human rights in our hemisphere.
