Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken traveled to Beijing, the People’s Republic of China (PRC), and London, the United Kingdom, June 16-21.

While in Beijing, Secretary Blinken met with senior PRC officials where he discussed the importance of maintaining open lines of communication to responsibly manage the U.S.-PRC relationship. He also raised bilateral issues of concern, global and regional matters, and potential cooperation on shared transnational challenges.

In London, the Secretary attended the Ukraine Recovery Conference to help mobilize international support from the public and private sector to help Ukraine recover from Russia’s brutal and ongoing attacks. While there, he also met with counterparts from the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and other partners and allies.
