Sint Maarten National Day

On behalf of the people of the United States of America, I congratulate the people of Sint Maarten on your Sint Maarten Day celebration.  

The longstanding friendship between our two countries demonstrates the people-to-people ties, shared history, and common values that bind us.  We partner together through joint law enforcement efforts to disrupt transnational criminal networks and make Sint Maarten and the United States safer for all our citizens.  Our combined efforts to expand opportunities for entrepreneurs, especially for young people and women, will further economic growth and strengthen our cultural ties.  

Wishing the people of Sint Maarten a happy Sint Maarten Day and looking forward to building a brighter future for our people in the years to come.
