Special Representative for Iran and Senior Advisor to the Secretary Brian Hook is traveling to New York City April 30 to May 1, 2019, for meetings with Permanent Representatives of the United Nations Security Council.

Special Representative Hook will provide council members with an update on the Administration’s Iran policy. He will underscore the importance of holding Iran accountable for its defiance of UN Security Council resolutions on the development and testing of ballistic missiles. He will also reiterate the need to fully implement all relevant UN Security Council resolutions related to Iran, including the enforcement of the Council’s legally binding travel restrictions and arms embargoes.
