The DC FPC hosted a local reporting tour to the Supreme Court of the United States. This informational off-the-record tour was attended by 31 foreign journalists from a variety of outlets. They received a tour of the Courtroom by the curator and learned about how cases proceed, who may attend, and where and how journalists may cover them. They then had a briefing by a judicial fellow on the legal path a case takes to be heard by the court, how they are evaluated for inclusion on the court docket, and how decisions are announced. Lastly, they heard from the public information office on how journalists can attend hearings, receive the latest decisions, and interact with the court.
