Tracy Thomas is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), where she currently directs Construction Management, Facility Management, and Security Management programs for the U.S. Department of State’s robust real property portfolio at over 287 locations around the world, with a portfolio replacement value over $75 billion.
Prior to her current position, Tracy was the Project Director for new diplomatic construction in Suva, Fiji; Sana’a, Yemen; and Islamabad, Pakistan. She also held the position of Senior Construction Executive with responsibility for all diplomatic construction in Europe. Tracy has over 30 years of federal and private sector experience and has been recognized with numerous awards for superior performance and leadership and was selected to be a Congressional fellow from 2016 to 2017.
