Konstantin Lopatin allegedly acted as a mid-level leader, or moderator, within the Carder.su organization. Carder.su is an Internet-based, international criminal enterprise whose members traffic in and manufacture stolen and counterfeit identification documents and access devices (credit and debit cards), and engage in identity theft and financial fraud crimes. According to the January 10, 2012 indictment, Lopatin’s criminal activity includes participating in a Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organization (RICO), conspiracy to engage in a RICO, and unlawful trafficking in and production of counterfeit identification documents or authentication features, among other violations.

The U.S. Department of State is offering a REWARD OF UP TO $1 MILLION for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction ofKonstantin Lopatin. A reward of up to $2 million is also being offered for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of an alleged co-conspirator, Roman Olegovich Zolotarev.
