The TIP Office commissioned its Human Trafficking Expert Consultant Network (the Network), which comprises experts particularly with lived experience of human trafficking, to develop this resource. These comprehensive documents provide observations, lessons learned, and recommendations for government officials, civil society members, service providers, and others to establish and improve trauma-informed anti-trafficking measures and responses in the COVID-19 environment. This resource includes an executive summary of key findings followed by recommendations related to high-level best practices, public health considerations, social service provision, and victim identification and trafficking investigations.
