The United States is committed to working with global partners to increase climate ambition and ensure strong outcomes at COP27. Under President Biden, U.S. leadership has been and continues to be essential to combating the climate crisis, and we are mobilizing a whole-of-government approach to scale up action at home and abroad to put the world on a path to reach net-zero emissions by 2050. We can only tackle the climate crisis if we implement the plans we have developed and keep the commitments we have already made. Countries must endeavor to quickly implement their existing commitments and make the additional commitments needed to keep the 1.5 degrees Celsius goal within reach and ensure a safe and sustainable future for all.

U.S. Center at COP27

The U.S. Center was the location for showcasing U.S. climate leadership at COP27. The U.S. Center featured dozens of events throughout the two weeks of COP27 and featured a diversity of actors and actions that are working together to combat the climate crisis. Events were livestreamed and recorded.
