The Department of State is part of the official U.S. delegation traveling to Bahrain for the November 22-24 International Institute for Strategic Studies Manama Dialogue: 15th Regional Security Summit. The U.S. delegation, led by Treasury Deputy Secretary Justin Muzinich, includes Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations Assistant Secretary Denise Natali, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs Deputy Assistant Secretary Timothy Lenderking, Office of Policy Planning Director Peter Berkowitz, Iran Action Group Deputy Director Matt McInnis, U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia John Abizaid, and U.S. Ambassador to Bahrain Justin Siberell. The Manama Dialogue is an important opportunity to discuss regional issues and advance U.S. priorities. The Department of State will participate in the formal agenda of the summit, bilateral meetings, and engagements with civil society.
