The U.S.-India Alliance for Women’s Economic Empowerment seeks to facilitate women’s economic participation in India by catalyzing commitments from the private sector, civil society and government leaders in both countries.
A public-private partnership between the U.S. State Department, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum and George Washington University, the Alliance works in cooperation with the private sector and civil society in both countries. Our members demonstrate that women’s participation in the economy is not just good for the world, but also good for business.
