Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Uzra Zeya will travel to Colombia and Guatemala May 22-26, 2023. During this trip, she will meet with government officials to discuss shared objectives of ensuring safe, orderly, and humane migration management, countering narcotics, and advancing civilian security. Also, the Under Secretary will engage with civil society organizations on topics including transitional justice, democracy, human rights, and media freedom.
